Ware Festival 2016: Theme Announced  9 FEBRUARY 2016

Carnival Day 2016 falls on Saturday 2 July and the theme is ‘'Roald Dahl' in celebration of his centenary.

The day promises to be great fun, with the River Parade of decorated boats at 12.45pm, the Carnival Parade at 1.20pm and the Town Fair in the Priory Grounds

As always, there will be loads of stalls and entertainment for everyone at the Town Fair.

Beer and Music festival at Hertford Rugby Club 3 FEBRUARY 2016

The Hertford Rugby Club Beer and Music Festival makes a welcome return after a 'short' 25 Year break.

The event is open to all and takes place in the clubhouse in Hoe Lane, Ware on Friday and Saturday this weekend (5 & 6 February)

£5 entrance on Friday (includes a pint of Free guest ale) and free entry on Saturday.

Community Cinema: A Christmas Carol 16 DECEMBER 2015

Ware Arts Centre is screening their last movie of the year. Unashamedly, "A Christmas Carol" will be shown on Friday 18 December 2015.

2015 Ware Dickensian Evening Gallery 5 DECEMBER 2015

This years Dickensian Evening saw more people than ever come out to support the towns charities, schools and businesses at Ware's festive street party. Each year the High Street and surrounding roads are closed to traffic allowing the town to enjoy singing and the chance to stock up on laser swords and glow sticks!

Ware's 2015 Dickensian Evening 3 DECEMBER 2015

Ware's Dickensian Evening, the town's annual festive street party takes place this Friday, 4 December 2015.

As last year, where it is estimated more than 10,000 people attended the event, roads in the town centre will be closed and traffic diversions will be in place.

Amwell End, High Street, Baldock Street, Church Street, East Street and West Street will be closed to traffic from 6.00pm - 10.00 pm read more...

Scout Christmas mail service in Ware 1 DECEMBER 2015

With the Chistmas season already upon us, residents and businesses in Ware can use an alternative postal service as the 3rd Ware Scouts return with their post service for a sixth year.

New gallery and workshop set to open 18 NOVEMBER 2015

Niko Brown, a glass artist from Hertford is expanding her business by opening a new gallery and creative arts workshop in Baldock Street, Ware.

The new studio will act as a showcase of work created by Niko and other local artists.

Van Hage's REAL ice-skating rink returns 14 NOVEMBER 2015

Now in its eighth year, the real ice-skating rink has opened again in Ware's Van Hage Garden Centre.

The rink is constructed inside a fully heated marquee with easy access to the Cafés comfortable seating and the skate-exchange desk.
