Community Cinema: Noble 22 NOVEMBER 2016

The Ware Arts Centre have announced the next film to be screened as part of the community cinema season. The film, Noble, will be shown on Friday 25 November 2016.

Noble is an award-winner on the independent film festival circuit and is an inspiring story of real-life heroism.

It's strictly ticket only so early booking is necessary to secure a seat.

Exhibition fuses modern and vintage photography 15 NOVEMBER 2016

Local photographer Dave Shrimpton is exhibiting a collection of photographs that he has taken using modern and vintage cameras, at the Ware Arts Centre later this month.

‘Out of the Ether’, on 26-27 November, takes visitors on a journey though time, showing a mix of digital, film and wet-plate photographs - images printed onto glass and tin plates using methods from the 1850s. read more...

45th Annual Ware Fireworks Display 31 OCTOBER 2016

The 2016 Ware Fireworks Display will take place on Saturday 5th November at its usual venue on the corner of High Oak Road and Kingsway. Whatever the weather, wet or dry, the fireworks will be launched!

The Rotary Clubs of Amwell, Ware and Hertford Shires, all of whom meet in Ware, are working together to put on the Ware Firework Display - an event which was started and run by Ware Round Table many years ago. read more...

Ware Festival 2016:  22 JUNE 2016

The 2016 Ware Festival begins on Saturday (2 July) with Carnival Day and continues right through the month, culminating with the famous Rock in the Priory.

The theme for Ware Festival 2016 is 'Roald Dahl'.

This year the Ware Festival welcomes back the 3rd Riverside Real Ale Festival which takes place on the 9th July.
