This is the third consecutive year Ware Cricket Club have held it and we have raised thousands of pounds for various charities.

Music & Motors 2015: In Pictures 26 AUGUST 2015

This past weekend, Ware hosted the 7th Music and Motors community event, organised by members of Ware Online and residents in the town. This year we had 28 cars and 4 classic bikes on show to the public who were entertained by 11 local musicians throughout the afternoon.

The Brewery Tap 'returns' to Ware 20 AUGUST 2015

The Tap Bar in Ware has re-opened with a new tenant, a new look and an old name.

The historic pub has reclaimed its original name and will be known again as the Brewery Tap. It has undergone a significant renovation by pub owners Greene King and new licensee, Mark Butcher. read more...

Sainsbury's Local Opens in Ware 17 AUGUST 2015

A new Sainsbury's Local has opened on Star Street in Ware, creating 24 new jobs for the local community.

Mexican homeware and gift shop opens in High Street 7 AUGUST 2015

Casita Bonita, a Mexican themed homewares, gift and jewellery shop, had it's official opening this week.

The new shop, situated in Gilpin House in the high street, was opened by the town Mayor Phyllis Ballam. The launch party and was attended by local business leaders, councillors and invited guests. read more...

Quality and passion drives the Southern Malting campaign 4 AUGUST 2015

Campaigners, trying to save the historic Southern Malting in Ware and convert it into an 'Arts for All' Community Arts Centre have been working hard to make the project a reality.

Now in its Seventh year, Music & Motors, featuring live music and a small classic vehicle show, takes place in Tudor Square in the heart of Ware, this year on Saturday 22 August 2015 in the afternoon.

The month long Ware Festival started this weekend with the Boat Parade on the river followed by the Town Carnival procession through the High Street.

Vote for the Southern Maltings: Last few days 27 MAY 2015

The Southern Maltings Community Group have recently had their application accepted for a grant of £25,000 from the AVIVA Community Fund.

In order to get their hands on the money they need to get enough people to vote for their project on the Aviva website.

Please go to the Aviva Community Fund website and register to vote. You will then have 10 votes - please use all your votes to support the Southern Maltings.
