Rock in The Priory - Showcase Review Published:28 Apr 2005

| Mojag - Now performing @ Rock at The Priory |
Last weekend 23rd & 24th April saw the first ever showcase, sponsored by Make Music, for this year’s Rock in The Priory.
There had been a tremendous response and from the 100+ demos received, twelve bands had been selected to play in the Showcase, from which it had been decided four would be selected to play in the line up at Rock in The Priory which takes place on July 24th.
The Riverside Hall in Priory Street rocked to the sounds of many different strains and the standard was exceptionally high. So much so that the judges were unable to reach a consensus on four bands. After great deliberation and tweaking of timings for Rock in The Priory, the following bands were selected: - Mojag
- The 66 Kicks
- Black Cab
- broken Mile
- The Imperial Vipers
Nuala 0’Halpin & The Leading Edge will also feature on the day.
The full line-up for Rock in The Priory will be released in due course.
Ware Town Council and Make Music thank everyone who submitted demos and to those who appeared in the showcase. It is gratifying to know there is so much local talent and the Showcase has paved the way to a great day out in Ware on July 24th.
