Saw the ongoing work in the square yesterday. Occurred to me it was a shame that the church entrance hasn't been moved round the corner so it opened up into the square (the other side of the sub station) It would have encouraged more people to enter the square and helped resolve the difficult access...

HCC is busy stock piling cash to improve their reserves. No money to send on things like towpaths.

I'd have been interested to attend to see how community facilities will be incorporated into the plans (re Scouting and others)
But I have our Scout District AGM that evening.

Who prohibits it? sounds like that person/department needs some feedback.

They just need a board outside that they can hang "we don't take today" signs on. Drivers can then see as they approach and skip or queue.

The safest way to deal with this sort of thing is to instruct all suppliers who would send an invoice to txt you the invoice number to your mobile phone when they email an invoice. If you get an invoice and a matching txt then its expected. No matching txt just trash the invoice. Don't open attachme...
