My daughter in law lost her I-Phone at Van Hages this afternoon. It has a special rear case with a picture of her and her baby son. If anyone finds it please contact me here, there are all of her baby photos on it, which sadly she didn't back up anywhere :(

Don't iphones automatically backup to the cloud?
Hope the phone turns up.

It will only auto backup if you set it to do so.

Phone now reunited with it's owner. It was apparently not lost in Van Hages as originally thought, but in Asda where it was handed in 8-)

Do iPhones not report back their location?

I know Google track Andoid devices (configurable) so that if you lose your phone or get kidnapped, you're movements can be traced.

If you're logged in to your Google account just go to

Apple do have a tracking App for lost/stolen phones & Ipads, allows you to put a message on screen, its last known location & if necessary to wipe it.
