Kingshill Launderette

I have heard that the launderette on Kingshill is up for sale and I hope the buyer continues to run it as a launderette otherwise a vital service could be lost to the town, especially as they are fast disappearing, i.e. their other one in Bengeo that was sold. Would any other users be affected by the loss of this amenity?

I don't use it regularly only when the washing machine breaks down but it always seems to be fairly busy when I've been in there. They appear to do a lot of service washes which surprises me as I assumed that most people had their own washing machine. Useful for washing pillows and duvets etc. I hope it stays as a laundrette
