Hertford RFC v Gravesend RFC

Post by Andy B »

It was to be a tough day at Hoe Lane where Hertford were looking to do the double over Gravesend in wet and muddy conditions.
Three early penalties gave Hertford the lead and after 29 minutes a try with a difficult conversion brought the tally up to 16 - 0.
Gravesend were still battling though and converted try brining up half time for 16 - 7.
The rain fell and score remains the same till the last twenty minutes where two quick try's with a single conversion brought up 28 - 7 and the seasons double completed.
Hertford remain in fifth place with gaps opening up to both fourth and sixth.

Next up are second placed Tunbridge Juddain RFC who Hertford beat in the home leg but the 6 Nations takes centre stage next week so Hertford will play on the 5th March.

Kickoff 3pm.
