Ware Town Raft Race 2015

Great fun with 12 teams entering.

2nd Ware retained the Scout Raft Race trophy and th3e ASDA team won the adult trophy.

We were there and once again congratulations to all who organised it and took part. What a wonderful advertisement for the town again. All credit to the team whose raft disintegrated when it was put in the water but managed to get it together again and join the race.

I liked the Waterside Inns raft. Made of 4 ali bear barrels. Once loaded with the 4 rowers it sank a good way under and basically became a submarine.
They still completed the race.
Maybe empty the beer out next time...
