Local Surveyor to draw up Loft conversion plans

Decided not to go the easy route and just pay a company for a stock loft conversion as we want to make the best use of the space.
So looking for a local company to draw up plans etc and then find a company to quote from there.
Anyone know of somebody local who they have used and was good?
And any suggestions for builders experienced in loft conversions.
