The town council seem determined to bring itself in to disrepute.
Following the mayor's cancellation of a council meeting, it appears that the feud between two councillors is still on.

Town Council Conduct
Re: Town Council Conduct
There's no mention of what the dispute is about or why its taken so long which I'm sure must affect the cost.

Re: Town Council Conduct
I'm guessing the row may have something to do with the fact the mayor is a university student at Oxford, and cant possibly attend all the meetings and functions people expect the mayor at.
Re: Town Council Conduct
Full Council - Annual Town Meeting, 23-Apr-2018 7:30pm Fletchers Lea. Bring popcorn.
It's also Mayor Curtis' final meeting as mayor. As well as probably the last meeting before EHDC vote on adoption of the District Plan. A good time to hand deliver a letter to your councillors.
Does anyone remember Clochemerle? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clochemerle_(TV_series) I think Curtis' final act should be to propose a pissoir in the centre of Tudor Square.
I confess to being somewhat fascinated by the membership and purpose of this secret Tory cabal. We can be fairly sure that Mick & Roz Standley and J Taylor are in it and that J Kaye and D Oldridge are not. A Curtis was but no more. What about the rest of them?
And then there's the nature of the “serious” code of conduct complaint. The Mercury journalist is reading 2+2 in the council minutes and finding 5 but it's not necessarily as simple as that.
Popcorn! We need more popcorn!

- No full council meeting in Jan
- Mayor misses Feb meeting due to flu, Deputy (Cllr M Standley) fills in
- March meeting cancelled [1]
- April meeting is the Annual Summary (bring popcorn!)
So when is normal Full Council business conducted?
There was due to be a meeting to discuss a Ware Town Neighbourhood Plan on the Thursday before Easter (led by Curtis) but that got cancelled as well.
