Community Voice: Safety

East Herts Council continues with its community out reach programme. This month, representatives from East Herts Council and the Police explain how they have been reducing crime and disorder, based on partnership, intelligence and public opinion.

Residents are invited to attend and find out what the partnership has achieved over the last year, and importantly, help the partnership set new priorities for 2010-11.

The meeting will be held on Thursday January 14, 2010 at Ware Priory from 7.30pm.

Chairman of the Ware Area Community Voice meeting, Cllr Jeanette Taylor said: "Community safety is an important issue for everyone, so we want to make sure that we're focussing on what's important to you. Don't miss your opportunity to have your say on what you think the Community Safety Partnership should be focussing on for 2010."

"East Herts Council is also making big changes to the way we work to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers, whilst making smart investments for the future. Council representatives will be on hand at the meeting to talk about the Changing the Way We Work project and answer your questions."

"You can also find out about the changes we will be making to the delivery of council services and how this will benefit you."
