Two doctors surgeries in Hertford & Ware are to merge after working together for the last 12 months.
Church Street Surgery in Ware and Castlegate Surgery in Hertford are to merge, forming a new partnership named New River Health.
In a letter to patients, the partnership said that the new operation would provide "more robust and effective GP services".
The service will continue to operate from the existing buldings in Church Street and Castle Street in Hertford, although some services may "from time to time be located at the other surgery building". Opening hours wil remain the same.
New River Health will be holding a drop-in event at the Church Street Surgery on Monday 23rd March at 12:30pm and 6:30pm, where patients can meet staff from both practices and ask questions about the merger.
