Carnival and river parade to open annual festival

The annual Ware Festival opens this coming Saturday 6th July, with a river parade and carnival.

The River Parade starts at 12.45pm and is followed by the Carnival Parade at 1.20pm.   The Town Fair opens at 2pm on Buryfield.

The arena entertainment will be presented by Herts County Sound and there will also be lots of stalls & food.

Ware Bowls Club will be open to visitors and there will be the annual Monday Club Art Exhibition in Riverside Hall 10am-4pm.  

Ware Festival is organised by a committee consisting of Town Councillors and representatives from local organisations and is funded by Ware Town Council.

The Ware Festival Committee organises a wide range of events throughout July; from the Carnival Parade, through to an Over 60s Party, The Riverside Real Ale Festival, Raft Race, Teddy Bear’s Picnic and more. The Committee also supports local groups putting on their own Festival events.
