I'm still here and if I were to visit Spotted in Ware I'd want to wipe my feet on the way out! Craig I think you've done' a fab job with this site (and Steve has with the Hertford one too I s'pose :) ). I personally think that the feel of this forum really is a local one and not some gobby thing out...

I've seen them near the lock on the Lea occasionally and by the tennis courts in Hertford and just beyond Ware Park Woods too.

As I understand it there were eight biplanes but I didn't see them. We had a forked tailed (silver Red Bull) P-38 Lightning go over two days ago too.

Steven "Barney" Barnard

You might have seen the Mercury front page story about Steven (a.k.a Barney) being involved in a motorcycle accident and losing his life. He was a 3rd Ware scout leader but also involved in things like young leader training. He was a real character and the kids loved him and indeed so did adults too...

Move the stalls out of Tudor Square onto the High Street and put all the glowstick sellers in there? The lights would make almost make a feature in themselves.
