Re: Local Elections

If there are will we see Mark Prisk? He said in last week's Mercury (I didn't buy it, honest, just saw it in a take away) that he will be getting out to see as many people as possible during the campaign. The Mercury almost seemed like a Tory publication. A huge picture of Tory on the front page and...

In 2015, with the general election on the same day as the district council elections, all of the East Herts District Council seats went Tory - and now all of the County Council seats have (although they probably were already). There is little point, in East Herts at ...

Re: Kingfisher Spot

I took a nice photograph of the railings by the gate next to the level crossing, before seeing the little blighter had flown on to a wall by the ri...

Re: White Horse High Cross

Passing the Costa yesterday I heard one of the workmen saying it was only being refurbished. It should be open again on the 14th he said, but it looks as if they'll have to work very hard to do that.

Solicitors Dealing with Property Issues

I am letting out my house in Cheshire and have problems with the letting agents (Northwood) who I have just got rid of after numerous problems. At present I am writing a letter of complaint and need legal advice. Does anyone know some solicitors in Ware or area that could help me? I have a list from...

Re: New Trains and Additional Service at Ware

That must be a long time ago. When I came to Ware in 1979 there were two an hour, except on Sundays when there was only one an hour.

Re: Paypal Support: Scam

I had a PayPal account, but never used it. When I began getting e-mails from them (this was more than five years ago) I cancelled my account. This was before I realised that they were scams. I got the e-mail over the weekend, the first for a long time, but just ignored it. The address has now been m...
