so what affect does it have on Ware if the old sign is covered up? i don't understand that! The Co-op sign, along with the old BR sign just along the road, have been in Ware longer than I have. They give the town character and a sence of history which I cherish and if they are removed then a little...

I see from the Conservative Party website (http://www.conservatives.com/OurTeam/Me ... _Mark.aspx) that our MP "Successfully campaigned against new supermarkets in Ware and Hertford". I wonder which supermarket in Ware that was?

I too am surprised by the scale and appearance of the building. It will be interesting to see if we get what we were showed during the consultation.

I thought it was ‘Ware Furnishing Stores’ as it had a link to another shop on the High Street. It was located where Austin’s is now.
