Re: Cycling-walking, Towpaths, Bridges in Ware-Hertford

I think the footpath is getting even worse, I'm just getting punctures all the time and it won't be long until somebody trips and really hurts themselves. Most of it now looks like this, disgusting;

Re: Street Life - Tudor Sq

How much outside space do Jacobys require? They have even put in corner barriers to 'steer' people around 'their' outside area now.

Re: Cycling-walking, Towpaths, Bridges in Ware-Hertford

The bit I hate is around Meadgate Rd to Nazeing New Rd. It's an unmade road to some static caravan sites. The pot holes are ridiculous.[/quote] I've not been down that far purely based on my puncture experiences. They need to resurface the lot and make it wider where they can so walkers and cyclists...

Re: Street Life - Tudor Sq

That is a pain. People outside sometimes scowl at my kids as they scooter close to them. Clearly not appreciating the problem that sometimes there are no big gaps. Good for Jacoby's to recognise the problem though.

Re: Cycling-walking, Towpaths, Bridges in Ware-Hertford

The footpath is in a terrible state these days. They want to put it on the tourist map and yet it looks almost third world now! I completely avoid the section right down by Dobbs Weir Road as it's given me a couple of punctures. The rest of it, including the section from the pump house to the A10 as...

Re: Refuse site

The council replied to me saying that they couldn't put boards outside because they weren't allowed and also it would confuse the customer..... And they then said they might be allowing a feature where the website is updated for containers being full but they are concerned it will distract the worke...

Re: Refuse site

I have just been up there again, waited half hour in the traffic jams caused by the site. And yet again no rubble so for the second time it's come back home with me. Ths guy said I should go to cole green. Is there anywhere else I can get rid of this? I'm starting to empathise with fly tippers, this...
