Loft ladder fitter
Can anyone recommend someone who could fit a loft ladder? Not something I could tackle myself! Thanks

Re: Wine Lodge
I wouldn't live in the middle of the High Street if i was bothered about noise....and there has been a pub on that site for years. Of course, staff need to keep a check on the few idiots that spoil it, but you'll get that in any town. I'd rather it was a bar than a takeaway, which it nearly was.

Re: Break in Kingsway/High Oak Road area
And an attempted break-in in Coronation Rd the other day. What are the police doing about it? Not a lot. It was bad last summer too, my sister was burgled in Jeffries Road, middle of the day. I'm going to get an alarm fitted and hope for the best!

Ware's Christmas lights are lovely and add an old-fashioned charm to the street that other towns just don't have

Broadmeads pumping station
Does anyone know about the old pumping station being up for for sale? I found this when looking for some general history...

Re: The Roebuck Hotel
It has been a hotel since the 1920s and the original building is older http://www.ourhertfordandware.org.uk/pa ... _0p2p.aspx

I agree with Mel
......'The owners might object - usually you cant just take something owned by someone else.'

(no need for sarcasm!) Owners of Roebuck have run it in to the ground - it would be perfect for a Premier Inn type establishment
