Loft ladder fitter

Can anyone recommend someone who could fit a loft ladder? Not something I could tackle myself! Thanks

Re: Wine Lodge

I wouldn't live in the middle of the High Street if i was bothered about noise....and there has been a pub on that site for years. Of course, ;) staff need to keep a check on the few idiots that spoil it, but you'll get that in any town. I'd rather it was a bar than a takeaway, which it nearly was.

Re: Break in Kingsway/High Oak Road area

And an attempted break-in in Coronation Rd the other day. What are the police doing about it? Not a lot. It was bad last summer too, my sister was burgled in Jeffries Road, middle of the day. I'm going to get an alarm fitted and hope for the best!

I can't get the petition to open, either from here or on the Southern Maltings site....

Re: Christmas Lights - Town Council Consultation

Ware's Christmas lights are lovely and add an old-fashioned charm to the street that other towns just don't have ;)

Broadmeads pumping station

Does anyone know about the old pumping station being up for for sale? I found this when looking for some general history...

Re: The Roebuck Hotel

It has been a hotel since the 1920s and the original building is older http://www.ourhertfordandware.org.uk/pa ... _0p2p.aspx

Re: Premier Inn for Ware?

I agree with Mel

......'The owners might object - usually you cant just take something owned by someone else.'
'
(no need for sarcasm!) Owners of Roebuck have run it in to the ground - it would be perfect for a Premier Inn type establishment
