For those making assumptions without basis, I found the Landlord most pleasant and courteous and the area swept immediately. One really shouldn't rush to a judgment before ascertaining facts in my opinion, it merely makes one look stupid.

As Whereaami suggested, I shall speak with the Landlord myself - it seems someone needs to do something. I am fed up with people moaning and jumping on a bandwagon on a public forum and not doing anything constructive to remedy the situation.

Those that do not bother to go to the small effort of attending the polling station forfeit their right to any views, opinions or considerations. If they have mobility issues a postal vote can be arranged. There is no excuse for not voting.

I am pleased to see comments from candidates and parties on WoL it shows that they are monitoring local opinions, however this approach seems limited to UKIP and Conservatives so I look forward to when the other parties deign to grace us with a statement.

A very good idea. All elections are equally important in their own way.
