Re: Town Council Elections
Am I the only one to be bored rigid by mb1 repeating the same old Tory bashing tripe that is irrelevant to the thread? As PatH says, we should be looking forward to the future and what this town council should be looking to achieve for local people and the local area. Let us for once, adopt a positi...

I suppose something had to be done after they inherited a petty cash tin with an IOU inside, but this has veered right off topic

Re: General Election Hustings 24th April Ware Drill Hall
This thread seems to have degenerated into a gratuitous attack on Mark Prisk and the Conservatives in general. Mud-slinging refers to the way all parties are behaving at present, making personal attacks rather then salient points, which has been replicated in the same childish manner on this forum. ...

Re: Best optician in town/area
Another vote for Aves. Not the cheapest but highly recommended. They are extremely thorough and very friendly. I have used them for years and would not consider going to a different optician unless there was no choice!

Re: New Manager at Waterside Inn
I must admit I have been pleasantly surprised by the Waterside and have popped in a few times. I will certainly call in and see what the new manager is doing with the place. He has some great hard working staff there so has a good base to build on. I wish him all the best!

Re: Barclays Ware
Barclays generally offer pretty poor customer service and value for money. Personally I would pop up the road to Santander and open an account there. They always seem to go out of their way to help and have never known them to refuse cash transactions. I'm not quite sure what local business are supp...
