The EHDC plan is not yet approved and there are several consultation processes still to be completed before anyone breaks ground. The final "consultation" was the Examination In Public, which has just finished. The Planning Inspector will publish his views before the end of the year. If a...

This isn't a public consultation on the plans per se. Nor is it being conducted by the District Council. It is an "Examination In Public" being conducted by the Planning Inspectorate to determine if the District Plan is fit for purpose. It's basically the [final] Government approval stage....

Well if the site is to be redeveloped as flats rather than an employment opportunity, then lets all insist that as it is public land we own, that the flats are all for social housing not private sale and profit. It is not "public land" in that sense. I believe it's owned by Herts County C...
