Re: Christmas lights
I agree with Whereaami, the lights, whilst I am glad to see them retained, are a lot dimmer than they have been in previous years. I do not wish the lights to be replaced, but maybe the lamps should be switched to LEDs which not only would be longer lasting and more efficient but would be brighter a...

Re: Christmas lights
A voluntary contribution of £50 - surely that should read something more along the lines of any voluntary contribution welcomed, with a guideline suggestion of £50? On the other hand, very glad to hear that the in-character lighting will remain, Ware would not look the same if it were to be replaced...

Re: Rememberance Service

The sadness of war is incalculable and should never be forgotten. As Wilfred Owen said, 'Dulce et decorum est...

Re: Rememberance Service
I agree with Whereaami, 11 am November 11th is the poignant date and when we should remember most especially those that bravely fought so that we that came after may have a better chance in the world. It is a shame that even this, the most sobering of occasions, has become so hyped and commercialise...

Re: China Red
I had heard that the owners had 2 shops and were going to just concentrate on the other one, but I would not like to say how true that is. The person who told me this, frequented China Red a lot, also using their car park for personal parking, is concerned that this arrangement will be coming to an ...

Ware Joggers - show some sense and manners
If anyone is a member of the Ware Joggers would they please convey to the rest of your group the stupidity of running not just running in the road when there is pavement on either side but groups of you weaving across the road. Not only were you irresponsible but you were completely discourteous to ...
