Re: Ware Beer Festival 2014
I've bought a ticket for Friday but not for Saturday because there was an event happening in the Drill Hall of which I would have been helping out with but that has now been cancelled; is it still possible to get one for Saturday? If Trev is too hung over I can threaten to sing. You're quite...
Re: Waitrose
Personally I think any sort of supermarket at Van Hagues will be a disaster for the High Street, much worse than Asda (except for those who live next to it). Nobody will come into Ware after visiting it and a significant number of people who go to Tesco now will switch allegiance and end up not usi...

Craig - count me in! I have long thought that the Maltings building could be put to better use, notwithstanding the excellent Arts Centre of course.

Don't you mean 6.30pm - 11.30pm both nights?
And the music on Saturday night will be provided, this year, by badharry!

Re: Tudor Square
Glaxo? Chauncy? What are you suggesting? Hold events on their premises, out of the town centre? What would be the point of that? As for Dickensian night being too crowded and needing less stalls - it's the stalls in Tudor Square and the crowds that make it so successful! If you don't like crowds, do...

Re: Fanshawe Opening times over xmas(or not)
I find it somewhat ironic that Everyone Active, the company that runs the gym, try to encourage more people to use their facilities by telling us that we need to get some exercise at least five days a week! Then they close for eight days, preventing us from using the gym at a time when most people w...
