Don't believe the Sow and Pigs has gone, I have heard someone new is taking over. The previous people have gone though.

I didn't even receive a polling card, let alone any literature from candidates. Never mind - still turned out to vote. I asked what the turnout had been thus far (9.30 pm ish) - 125 - a smidge pathetic even for such an overlooked election. Let's hope there is a better turnout next month when it real...

I agree with the comment about actually checking a place out for oneself, but come, on, it's a pretty safe bet to say a Mac's pub is never going to be the greatest. I'm sure the staff are lovely and do their best, but when it comes down to it, it will never be able to rise above the label of McMulle...

Telephoned last night, apparently the White Horse at High Cross is closed for good. A shame, there was a lot of potential.

I have heard the Feathers is shut for 3 weeks for a refurb.

I downloaded the app, but it appears most of Ware is 'out of area' - very disappointing after looking so promising

Don't bother with Station Cars - they are now run out of Cheshunt and 'he's on his way now' translates to a 45 minute wait and a further 4 phone calls.
