Re: Dean's Ablaze
Not necessarily. As someone said on Facebook today - when the Victoria Maltings burned down the planning authority insisted on an industrial unit rebuild in a modern similar style. Surely the Council would exert the same standard this time? Quite. I believe It's designated as employment land so any...

Re: General Election
The Council advertised for applications to fill the vacant position, the adverts and detail have, of course, now been removed. The Council then decided who to appoint. Since I live in the ward concerned I can assure you no election has ever taken place. Presumably the decision is recorded in the min...

Re: General Election
The only one I saw this time was David Argent. A leaflet from Mark Prisk, nothing at all from anyone else - presumably not worth the bother as with the locals. Fanshawe Pool
I see from this weeks Mercury that the pool is likely to close since the Council don't want to keep it on.

Re: Local Elections
I had a leaflet from the sitting Conservative - is anyone else bothering to stand? At the last election there were wards with only the Cons running since we know who will win. It is a waste of your time running against them. Apparently he is a responsive representative - odd since I didn't even get ...

Re: Hertford Regional College - Ware Campus
I'm surprised the lack of parking in recent builds hasn't come back to bite the developers before, but as the parking situation gets worse it must do.If I was moving to Ware now it would be one of the main considerations. As for renting driveways, I park in someones drive for work it's much easier t...

They were sharing the office with Barnes & Partners but they have now moved across the road. Winters will now be moving downstairs and have applied to convert their old offices to flats.Andy B wrote:I noticed that Winters in Baldock Street has a change of use notice on it from commercial to residential.
