Re: Webcam - Not Working?

A few months ago the webcam was not working for me. I updated the file it said I should, but this did not work. eventually i was able to see it using the old page. However, now I am able to see the webcam with no problems. I use Firefox and Vista.

Re: Asda Opens 14th May

I decided to pop in today, but was not that impressed. The shelves were rather very tall and with the narrow aisles it felt as if i was shopping in a warehouse. The prices were comparable with Tesco's so I doubt if I will be using it very often. Tesco's is closer for me and I can get to the High Str...

Re: Asda Opens 14th May

Driving past today I noticed that their opening times are 08:00 to 22:00 Monday to Saturday, Did not see what the Sunday times are, but I suspect 10:00 to 16:00.

Re: General Election Hustings 24th April Ware Drill Hall

What surprised me was when the Green Party candidate said that Mark Prisk was offered an alternative date, but still refused to come. It also appears that Prisk, as I had been told, was not going to a private Tory event. Apparently he was just 'going to Bishops Stortford'. This smacks to me a bit of...

Re: General Election Hustings 24th April Ware Drill Hall

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. In different ways all the candidates impressed - including the UKIP one (much to my surprise). I think I have decided who to vote for - and it won't be for our gloriously absent MP!

Re: General Election Hustings 24th April Ware Drill Hall

If we dare jeer or boo the UKIP or Conservative (oops!) candidates then we will be accused of having been chosen by the BBC.

Re: Yellow Line Apply On Bank Holidays

I've heard that the City of Westminster is appointing traffic marshals. Their job is to watch out for vehicles that leave their engines running for more than five minutes whilst stationary. I'm not sure if this is just a proposal or will come in soon - but traffic marshals? Really?

Perhaps the traffic wardens (is that the current phrase?) read this forum.

Re: General Election Hustings 24th April Ware Drill Hall

I am so annoyed at Mr. Prisk refusing to attend that I have sent an e-mail to David Cameron. I will wait for a week and see if I get a reply. It will probably be forwarded to the Whip's office and I doubt that Cameron will read it. At least I feel as if I have done something. Should I also send an e...

Re: General Election Hustings 24th April Ware Drill Hall

Labour's Katherine Chibah is clueless. She blamed the theatened closure of Hertford Post Office on the privatisation of Royal Mail. The two are nothing to do with one another. In fact, Post Office Ltd is a state owned limited company. How can you vote for someone who can't even grasp basic facts? T...
