It doesn't say when the closure begins except that it be January at the latest.
One of my neighbours told me that he'd heard that it was closing at the end of October - THAT'S TOMORROW!
Can anyone confirm this?

It closes today as far as I'm aware that's according to all the information I've seen

We were informed that it was going to be end of October - but then it was found not all the planing docs fully completed!!! So it will be closed as soon as that is all finalised. I understand that January 2019 is the end date but the Council are hoping it will be before that.
As an alternative why not use one of the local Reuse Groups eg Freegle? A lot of things get taken to the Tip that could be used by someone else, even broken stuff may be of use as spare parts. [
