But sadly not of Kingshill, but St James Close, off of Homefield Road.Mel wrote:http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-fo ... 48300.html here is an 'artists impression'!

no, I was replying to Andy B about the houses behind Musley Lane, should have put it on a separate topic I suppose.

I had to go check that for myself Masked WoLer, that is so ridiculous. No wonder no-one believes a thing estate agents say!!
Re: Building Started at Kingshill Shops
they look horrible in daylight, doesn't help that it always seems a grey day when I go past! You don't notice them much in the car but when I walked past, awful but I suppose we should wait to see the finished product.

I still don't understand how they managed to get planning permission. The car park is worse than ever too

Re: Building Started at Kingshill Shops
So the service road is not drive though now? That too was also in a poor condition.
I'm pretty sure I would not want a chippy at the bottom of my short garden no matter how good they were, the houses look better than I expected but there seems to be a lack of parking or are they expected to use the off road track next door?

Re: Building Started at Kingshill Shops
The service road at the back of the shops is still there and I believe they are having garages at the back of the shops, but I'll lay good money that cars will be parked in the car park (as long as the surface is re layed, which I doubt).
As to buying a house with the chippy next to it, I agree. You certainly wouldn't want to leave your washing outside to dry would you?
