Just got the Ware Festival 2014 Programme and I can't see the Raft Race mentioned.
So don't forget it's Saturday 19th July Library car park starting around 11am

It's missing from the diary section but does get a mention on page 2 paragraph 3. But thanks for pointing it out.

I love watching the raft race at the turn-around point by the Sarries. Always good fun.

Looking forward to the Annual raft Race and also the Cream Teas served in the Sacred Hearts Primary School Field - over the footbridge from where the Raft Race Starts. Teas and home made cakes etc provided by 3rd Ware Scouts raising money for the Twinned Scout Group and Village in Medina Sering Mass, The Gambia. Helping Charity will also be there.

Last year there was great atmosphere - so please come along before, during and after the Raft Race.

Had a good morning at the raft race. Got a nice scone, cream and jam from the scouts and supported Helping in Gambia. The race was fun. the photo is of 3rd Ware whose raft drifted gently apart more than it sank! I think they need more knotting practice!
