Why is Rock in the Priory on Monday 28?

Just noticed this, is it some kind of special holiday i don't know about?

It's not. It is on Sunday 27th (4th Sunday of the month as usual). It is an error on Ware Online's home page.

Gates open 11.30am, entry £5 adults; £2 concessions; £10 family ticket with up to 3 children; under 5s free.

Thanks IGS that is very important information. I spent 10 minutes trying to find out if a new bank holiday had been created! cheers! :D

I see it has now been changed on the home page to Sunday 27th.

At the start of the industrialisation of this country all Mondays got nicknamed Saint Monday due to those who had previously worked from home taking Mondays off and continuing to do so when forced into factories. So perhaps it's not such a bizarre idea. ;)

Maybe you're right. Billy Bragg has a very good song on that theme! Perhapd he'll perform it for the first Rock in the Priory on a St Monday!
