We got there in plenty of time only to be see it fly a mile further west than was indicated.
A bit disappointing, but we did see it.... just.
The A10 just below Buntingford was my first thought. But then I started to have doubts about which track it would take on such a long stretch, and realised that North Weald wasn't *that* much further from my side of Ware, and should guarantee a sighting. Plus, on the basis of the Spring tour, it was likely that it would do more than just a straight flypast at each of the waypoints.

The sheer number of people, and the people watching at North Weald added to the experience too! All the way from the hardcore planespotter nerds to the young woman heard to exclaim "you bought me all this way for *that*" after the flypast..

I took a chance that the Stansted Controlled airspace would push her to the West. I was lucky and she flew down the Lea Valley and turned at Stanstead Abbotts to head for North Weald.
