Second game of the new season see Hertford travelling to Bury St Edmonds, home to Green King Brewery who supply HRFC, who also lost last week but are above Hertford via alphabetical order. Away game are always tougher than home ones but Hertford need points on the table so a concerted effort is required this week.

After stating that things could get no worse I was wrong! A 43 - 21 thumping from Bury has place Hertford firmly at the bottom of the table in 14th place.
Now things cannot get any worse. Or can they? Time for Hertford to gain the resolve and strength that has served them well in previous seasons and start climbing the league table.
