Sat Sep 20th Ware v Bright + Tues 23rd v Thurrock

Post by kevin phillips bong »

2 home games coming up for the super boys in Blue + White stripes...........
1st up this Saturday, newly promoted from the Eastern Counties League Brightlingsea Regent come to Wodson (ko 3pm) for the 1st ever competitive match between the 2 teams.
2nd up Tuesday evening Thurrock make the trip to Wodson ko 7.45.
Ware has started the season on good form and currently sit 9th in the table - BR are 20th + Thurrock 3rd, so on paper Tuesday evenings match is tougher, but will it work out that way??????????????

A 2-1 win for Ware at home to Brightlingsea whilst Thurrock won 6-2 away from home. Tuesday's game should be interesting.

Ware's goals on Saturday came from goal machine Kieran and the always impressive Marut (Ware now up to 7th). Sadly Marut is suspended for 1 match for tomorrow's fixture v 3rd placed Thurrock; as BlueBoy says - our toughest match of the season so far - so will he be missed????????????? should be a good game anyway.

Ware 1 Thurrock lost in last nights excellent game of football at Wodson Park. Ware's winning goal just before half time came from a well worked corner by Wadey and smashed in by Little Albert. Great match and a well deserved win by the Ware boys who remain 7th in the table.

Unbeaten in the seven games so far in September. Just next Tuesday's home game with Dereham Town to hopefully make it eight undefeated games in the month.
