A tough away game this Saturday to second placed Barnes although the home leg was won by Hertford back in November quite convincingly, 32 - 10, but rest assured that Barnes will be looking for revenge. Barnes second place in the league is due their consistency but strangely they have points for the same as Hertford and points against just a ten point difference where they have gained is with five more bonus points than Hertford. It will be an interesting confrontation if Hertford can maintain their discipline and not give away infringements.

Kickoff 3 pm.

Playing teams at the top of the table means that you have to up your game or you get swamped and that it seems is what happened today with Barnes showing their potential champions credentials winning 43 - 14. Barnes maintain the gap to to our neighbours Bury St Edmonds who they are due to meet in a couple of weeks time. Hertford in the mean time have to regroup and take stock that their remaining three games of the season are against sides lower in the league than them and must take advantage of that to at least hold onto their fifth position.

I have to admit that I was more intrigued in what was happening in the 6 nations today.. All matches should have been played at the same time but I was more than happy with the final outcome. :D :D :D
