Amaersham & Chiltern RFC v Hertford RFC result

Postby Andy B » Thu 16 Apr 2015 6:34 am

The final game of the season away to Amersham & Chiltern who like Tring last week reside in the relegation zone but as was proven that does not mean a win is on the cards. The first game of the season was home to Amersham which Hertford lost 20 - 40 so maybe the writing was on the wall for this season. If Hertford are to finish the season on a win which from previous games they are more than capable of the discipline on field has to be brought into line and play to their strengths.

Kickoff 3 pm.

The season has ended as it had started with a loss, Amersham & Chiltern 30 Hertford 19, this was not enough to lift them out of the relegation zone and they finished second from bottom and are relegated along with CS Rugby and Tring. Up at the top of the table Bury St Edmunds finished clear of Barnes and take the London & SE Devision crown as for Hertford they finished sixth but from some performances during the year could have finished higher. I'm sure the closed season will bring changes including the re-shuffle of the leagues and the 2015/16 season will bring new hope and strengths.
