The RFU season has kicked off in this World Cup year and Hertford have welcomed newly promoted Eton Manor to the league by giving them a bit of a thumping which is the only way to describe a 65 - 7 win. Its far to early to have any aspirations of greater things but a good moral boost to start the season and with six teams ending the day with a five point league tally Hertford sit at the top of the league due to the large points differential. The last game of the season is Eton Manor at Hoe Lane so it will be interesting to see how their fortunes have faired through the season.
Next Saturday is a the first home game of the season against Wimbledon who are also newly promoted starting their season with a loss to Shelford.
Kick off 3 pm.
