The final league game of the season went off as expected with Hertford romping in 60 - 12 winners which maintains their forth place in the league. London Irish Wild Geese were champions loosing just a single game all season and that was against Hertford who were so close to making that a double and ending up with next best a draw.
Eaton Manor failed to win a game all season which shows what a tough league this is but full credit to them for persevering and taking the game to their opponents.
To end the playing season at Hoe Lane next Friday the 29 th April, a team of Hertford Legends ( they called themselves that) are playing a match v a team from the Rugby charity "School of Hard Knocks". Its going to be a fantastic way to wrap up the playing part of the season and monies raised will all be donated to "The Injured Players Association". Apart from the spectacle of the rugby there will be a top circuit comedian to provide match commentary and then post match hold court with his views of a few of our well known members.
Live music will see us through the night and the odd tipple may be taken. Please come and support a great cause and have a great night bars open at 1900.
