"This is an email to advise you that Abellio Greater Anglia will cease trading at 0159 hours on 16th October, and a new franchise still under the ownership of Abellio (Abellio East Anglia) will commence at 0200 16th October and will trade under the name of just Greater Anglia."

Glad these people can find time to keep themselves busy with stuff like this...

Surely the most burning question they'll need to answer is will they be putting on two or three trains an hour?

No the burning question is what will all the new signage and livery look like (and cost rail users) and how much profit can they squeeze out of it in the time they have.

Sticking my head above the parapet here but we were on the 6:11 from Liverpool Street last night (via Seven Sisters) and it was empty all the way.Would that be unusual for a Friday night or any night come to that? Jeremy Corbyn would have been very disappointed!
