This is a really brilliant piece of research Wickenpeople - I enjoyed reading it again. I hope you are leaving this for the new owners!
Lessons for today (i) it was easier to park outside the bakery in the old days (ii) today your sources of information ( wareonline/Gerbil etc) are
less apparent than the copious documentation you have carefully extracted from the Records Offices!
