Why voice a rational, reasoned opinion when one can merely post detrimental remarks and mud-sling - gotta love election time.....

Where's the mudslinging JCB? I see no unfounded accusations.

Unfounded accusations were not mentioned, but if there is a guilty conscience lurking.... ;)

talking of mud slinging....I hope all the candidates are shown some respect and are allowed to answer without being shouted down by the other candidates or the audience.

Knowing how paranoid some are about certain parties, this could easily happen...............

If we dare jeer or boo the UKIP or Conservative (oops!) candidates then we will be accused of having been chosen by the BBC.

This thread seems to have degenerated into a gratuitous attack on Mark Prisk and the Conservatives in general. Mud-slinging refers to the way all parties are behaving at present, making personal attacks rather then salient points, which has been replicated in the same childish manner on this forum. I should really like to see a box marked 'none of the above' to be added as an option on the ballot paper as I fear none of our politicians really capable of successfully running this country.

I don;t see any mudslinging at all. There is much much more that could justifiably have been said in criticism of this callous and appalling conservative government. What I see on here is justified criticism of mark prisk for refusing to engage with his constituents and explain why he feels he should be re-elected MP.
