Hertford needed to get back into winning ways with a home match against Westcliff RFC and Hertford went off at a canter and after twenty minutes they were 28 - 0 up with four try's on the board. When halftime came they were still in front but Westcliff had scored two try's with one converted leaving a halftime score of 28 - 12. The second half painted a different picture though as Hertford showed their dominance and scored another five try's, yes five! The final score was 57 - 12 with Westcliff failing to score in the second half. This win although big in score failed to move Hertford up the table and they remain sixth.
Next Saturday is an away fixture to East Grinstead who are two points and two places above Hertford and the start of a run of three matches against team currently above them in the league.
