It doesn't seem to be working terribly well again. Never mind, the council in it's wisdom now has a web cam at each of its
Dumps, sorry, waste recycling centres. So that we can see when there is a queue.
What a monumental waste of money!

A dump webcam, what a good idea. Perhaps pointing it down the road would be a better indicator of 'busyness'. Also, notifications of container types not in use would be good. Simple wins!

Ah well, it looks like Ware doesn't have a Live Webcam anymore. That's a shame because I am sure it was quite popular :(

I'm assuming that whatever the problem is is being sorted as they haven't taken the site down.

This old chestnut again!
Was any reason given by Herts Display as to why they took down the webcam?
Has anyone investigated along The High Street if someone else would be willing to have one from their store?
As an ex-Warite I often looked at the webcam probably just a bit of nostalgia but quite miss it now.

Hi Andy - It seems that they are not interested in any of the followers on this site anymore in favour of 'Faceache'. Its 'Faceache' or nothing. Such a shame that we lost such an excellent community asset, but they say its called progress - Humph! :(
